Idris Nechirvan Barzani has sold his shares in Kurdistan International Bank, worth approximately $35M.

According to two shared documents, the son of the President of South Kurdistan, Idris Nechirvan Barzani is selling his stake in the International Bank of Kurdistan for 39 billion and 600 million dinars.

Both documents presented to the Iraqi Stock Exchange by the Bank of Kurdistan state the sale of Idris Nechirvan Barzani’s share, and its value.

The document was submitted on December 20, and on December 20, Al Karmal Company submits a letter to the Iraqi Stock Exchange to purchase its shares.

Idris, 24, is also the chancellor of Kurdistan University of Erbil among other things.

At young age, Idris disposes over a large fortune, while Kurdistan’s youth set out to die in the Aegean sea, the forests of Poland, or the English channel.
