On March 27, 2026<\/b>, according to the official report from the Deputy Governor of Kermanshah, airstrikes conducted by Israel and the United States targeted three civilian locations in Kermanshah Province: the Hafizieh<\/b> neighborhood, the Chaqaglan<\/b> district in the center of Kermanshah city, and the village of Karkhaneh<\/b> in Kangavar County.<\/p>\n
As a result of these inhumane attacks, 15 civilians<\/b> lost their lives, and more than ten residential units were completely destroyed. Among the victims are five children and four women.<\/p>\nAtrocities in the Chaqaglan Neighborhood, Kermanshah<\/b><\/h4>\n
In the missile strike on the Chaqaglan neighborhood, which occurred on Friday afternoon, over 10 residential units were demolished. Six people<\/b> were killed and 56 ordinary citizens<\/b> were injured. Among the deceased in this district were an 8-year-old child and two women, one of whom was pregnant<\/b>.<\/p>\nMassacre in Karkhaneh Village, Kangavar<\/b><\/h4>\n
Earlier that morning, in another attack on the village of Karkhaneh in Kangavar County, seven ordinary citizens<\/b> lost their lives. The victims in this village included:<\/p>\n A 4-year-old child<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Three children under the age of 18<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Two women<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Names of some of the children martyred in these attacks:<\/b> Baran Sadeghi (4 years old), Hasti Kahrizi, Pania Emami, Asal Kahrizi, Yalda Karimi, Yekta Karimi.<\/p>\n These attacks against residential areas devoid of military objectives constitute a serious violation of fundamental international law:<\/p>\n Violation of the Prohibition of the Use of Force:<\/b> According to Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the UN Charter<\/b>, any use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of states is prohibited. This military assault is a direct breach of this core principle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Violation of International Humanitarian Law (IHL):<\/b> Based on the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949<\/b> and the 1977 Additional Protocol I<\/b>, military forces are required to observe the Principle of Distinction<\/b> between military objectives and civilian populations. The destruction of residential homes and the killing of children and pregnant women may be classified as War Crimes<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Violation of the Right to Life:<\/b> According to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (1966)<\/b>, states are obligated to respect the fundamental right to life and prevent arbitrary interference with individuals’ lives and homes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n Under the rules of State Responsibility (codified by the UN International Law Commission), the states responsible are obligated to provide accountability and full reparations for all material and moral damages caused to the victims and their families.
