The attack killed three civilians and left three others severely injured.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\">This facility was entirely civilian and lacked any military purpose. This event is a clear example of the violation of the fundamental principles of International Humanitarian Law and the right to life. Dizaj village is an agricultural area where residents rely on small-scale agricultural packaging workshops for their livelihoods. According to eyewitnesses, the attack occurred during normal working hours and targeted defenseless civilians.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5429\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5429\" style=\"width: 1280px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5429\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ikhrw.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/03\/IMG_20260324_201943_692.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"719\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ikhrw.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/03\/IMG_20260324_201943_692.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/www.ikhrw.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/03\/IMG_20260324_201943_692-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ikhrw.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/03\/IMG_20260324_201943_692-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.ikhrw.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/03\/IMG_20260324_201943_692-768x431.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.ikhrw.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/03\/IMG_20260324_201943_692-390x220.jpg 390w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5429\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Military attack on legume packaging workshop<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 data-path-to-node=\"14\"><b data-path-to-node=\"14\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Analysis of International Law Violations<\/b><\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"15\">This attack is an explicit violation of the following:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"16\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"16,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"16,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Article 6 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (1966):<\/b> Which recognizes every individual\u2019s inherent right to life.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"16,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"16,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Articles 51 and 52 of the First Additional Protocol to the Geneva Conventions (1977):<\/b> Namely, the prohibition of indiscriminate and direct attacks on civilians and civilian objects (such as agricultural workshops), which are protected as long as they are not direct military objectives.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"16,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"16,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions:<\/b> Given that this event occurred within the framework of a non-international armed conflict, this article has also been violated.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-path-to-node=\"17\"><b data-path-to-node=\"17\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Witness Reports on the Incident&#8217;s Scale<\/b><\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"18\">Witnesses have reported that the attack was carried out without prior warning using heavy weaponry, and the workshop immediately burst into flames. There were no signs of military presence or combat equipment in the vicinity of the workshop.
