A Kurdish asylum seeker from the town of Salas Bawajani, in Kermanshah provinc, has died on the border between Belarus and Poland of frostbite. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

According to a report received by IKHRW, on Monday, November 22, 2021, a 25-year-old asylum seeker, identified as Bakhtiar Musazadeh, from the town of Salas Babajani on the Belarusian-Polish border, died of frostbite. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Bakhtiar Musazadeh’s family was displaced to Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war, along with hundreds of other families, and settled in the Al-Tash camp in Ramadi province. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After the war, the family Musazadeh decided to remain in the Kurdistan Region, and settled in Sulaimaniyah.<\/p>\n

According to the statistics registered, since the beginning of 1400, at least 7 Kurdish refugees from the cities of Kermanshah, Salas Bawajani, Marivan (3 cases) and Sardasht (2 cases) have died while going to Europe. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
