With the novel coronavirus causing a humanitarian crisis across the globe, and severe lockdowns throughout most of European countries. Social gatherings have been forbidden for two months now in most West-European countries, in an attempt to prevent the spreading of the virus.
One of the European cities that has been hit the hardest, is Paris. Yet, the European branches of PKK ignore all curfew rules imposed. Today, in the suburb Drancy, the youth from the PKK-affiliated organisations Kurdish Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwan\u00ean \u015eore\u015fger) and Free Young Women (Jin\u00ean Ciwan\u00ean Azad) staged a civil obedience action, blocking traffic on a busy main road and crowding together.
The goal of this action was drawing attention to the collaboration between the Tutkish state and Barzani’s KDP. Yet, actions like these only disturb the public order and traffic.
